Our friends from the Citadel. It’s been a while since we’ve seen you here. In case you thought we abandoned this Blog… we didn’t. We’ve just been focusing on live-streaming stuff and, well, life got in the way toward the end of last year. Joann went to school for three months, and I got sick in December, which carried over to this year. All in all, it’s been something of a rough patch for Angel’s Citadel. We are still streaming on Twitch, though. Our Live Play of Invisible Sun called the Soul’s Direction is moving forward slowly but steadily. And we’re doing some co-op video gameplay (currently: Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands). Also on the docket as something we’re working toward, are duet games, where Joann and I play TTRPGs one-on-one.
So the executive summary is: We’re still around. You can still find us on social media. You can still see us on Twitch. You can still join our Discord and talk to us. We’re still putting out Patreon content which you can get exclusive access to for just $3/month (or there’s other tiers too). We’re not going anywhere. We just haven’t posted here in a while. We’ll probably get back to that too eventually. Thing is, there’s only two of us, and we’re both working at this point. There’s only so many hours in a day.
However, I wanted to make sure that we came back up for air long enough to let you all know that Angel’s Citadel is going to RavenCon in the Washington D.C. Area this year. It’ll be our first vacation this year, so yay! Also, we’re going to be playing in a LARP, run by our friend that we met last year, the inestimable Sean Higgins and his team. We’ll be co-GMing both of them, but Josh will be running an introductory Numenera game, and Joann will be running an introductory Cyberpunk RED game*. If you happen to be in the area and want to, we’d love for you to stop by and say Hi to us and maybe sit in one of our games.
So we’re not gone. We haven’t forgotten anyone. And we’re still working on content, including the full release of Hope’s Horizon under the Cypher System Open License. We’re still working on fleshing out our own properties and our own system, the Citadel System, which we’ve been working on for over a year now. So stick with us.
